Polycom announced the have rationalised the HDX 4000™ High Definition VideoConferencing series to just two models, dropping the previous XL & XLP bundles.
The two models, HDX 4001 and HDX 4002, now include the following data sharing features as standard; H.239 People+Content (direct VGA connection), People+Content IP (PC linked over IP network). They also now include the People on Content feature (Presenter overlayed on content). |

Polycom introduced the entry-level HDX 6000-720V model along with HDX version 2.6 software. At the same time, Polycom announced they were rationalising the HDX range to effectively two models per series. They announced the HDX6000-720V & HDX6000-720; the HDX7000-720 & HDX7000-1080; the HDX8000-720 & HDX8000-1080 and HDX9000-720 & HDX9000-1080. HDX models now include People+Content IP Data Sharing as part of version 2.6, which also adds support for H.264 High Profile video compression that offers HD 720p as low as 512kbps. |

This makes it easier for our European business customers who prefer to pay in Euros (€) or others who prefer to pay in US Dollars ($) and removes exchange rate costs.
Over the coming months, we plan to expand our ability to take credit card payments by adding the option to pay in US Dollars ($) or Euros (€) to our Online Catalogue and increase the shipping coverage to Europe and beyond. |

21st Century Video updates their On-Line Catalogue and enables full 3D Secure Authentication when accepting online payments. 3D Secure is a culmination of Verified by Visa (VbV) and MasterCard Secure Code (MSC) and is the latest fraud prevention initiative launched by the card schemes.
On 7th June 2007, the UK Switch card will become Maestro, and the Switch brand will be discontinued. MasterCard have already issued a rule that all International Maestro and UK Maestro cards must have a full 3D Secure Authentication in order for the transaction to be authorised. The UK Switch logo must nolonger be displayed |
